For as long as I can remember, all I have ever wanted is to be heard, so art became a salve for me. As I get older, learning new things and meeting new people, I am attuning to the joy of growth not only in my craft, but within myself. To me, art is an active exploration of expression, capability, and intuition. It’s a way to say to others, “I see you, and I feel that way too.” I love working with my hands and trying new things, and art has provided these experiences in a safe space. I try to create with childlike wonder and an honest heart, and I hope that sentiment is visible.
