Riverviews Artist Collective
Stewarding an artist community, together
Riverviews Artspace was founded over twenty years ago as an artists’ co-op, a space built by artists, for artists, grounded in shared care, mutual support, and creative exchange. As Riverviews has grown and evolved, that founding spirit has remained central to our work.
The Riverviews Artist Network is an effort to intentionally revive and steward our original mission, creating a sustainable way for artists to remain connected to Riverviews and to one another.
Membership in the Riverviews Artist Collective offers multiple ways to stay connected and involved:
Artist Directory Listing: Inclusion in an online public directory connecting local artists to peers, collaborators, and opportunities.
Quarterly Artist Network Update: Curated opportunities, calls, resources, and Riverviews news relevant to artists.
Artist Gatherings & Studio Visits: Occasional, informal opportunities to connect and see work in context.
Annual Hallway Exhibition Program: Participation in a rotating exhibition program that reflects the breadth of the artist community.
Member Rates on Workshops & Events: Reduced pricing on select Riverviews programming.
Opportunities to Contribute: Members may contribute time, perspective, or expertise to gallery and program efforts, as interest and capacity allow.
The Riverviews Artist Network is a community membership for artists who want to maintain an active relationship with Riverviews Artspace, stay visible and connected within an artist-centered ecosystem, and participate in a shared culture of care, contribution, and continuity.
This is not a class, critique group, or formal cohort. It is a living network rooted in affiliation, trust, and shared responsibility for an artist community. Engagement is flexible and self-directed, honoring the realities of working artists’ lives.
