Create Studio
A space to make, experiment, and connect.
Create Studio is Riverviews Artspace's community artmaking space in downtown Lynchburg. Located alongside our galleries and artist studios, it offers a welcoming environment for people of all ages and experience levels to explore materials, experiment with techniques, and discover new ways of expressing themselves.
Where art and community come together.
Through artist-led workshops, hands-on programs, and collaborative projects, Create Studio connects the experience of making art with the ideas and artists featured at Riverviews. Participants learn new skills, explore creative processes, and engage directly with working artists, bringing contemporary art beyond the gallery walls and into their own hands.
Expanding access. Supporting artists.
We believe creative opportunities should be accessible to everyone, and that artists should be valued for the work they do. Through community partnerships and philanthropic support, Create Studio helps reduce financial barriers to participation while providing paid teaching and professional opportunities for local and regional artists. Together, these investments make meaningful creative experiences possible for more people in our community.
