Modern Twist 18th Annual Juried Art Exhibition
November 6, 2026 – January 10, 2027
What happens when a classic work of art meets a bold contemporary eye?
Riverviews Artspace presents Modern Twist, our 18th Annual Juried Art Exhibition, bringing contemporary artists into conversation with art history.
Each selected work offers a fresh interpretation of a piece of art created in 1935 or earlier, reimagining its subject, style, or meaning through a contemporary lens. Featuring artists from across the country, Modern Twist celebrates creative experimentation, unexpected connections, and the enduring influence of art history.
Juried by Amy Calandra Davis, the exhibition invites visitors to discover familiar inspirations in entirely new ways.

Presented in the Riverviews Artist Collective Hallway Gallery, Copy Cats features original artwork created by young artists participating in CREATE Studio's Great Artists workshop series.
Inspired by Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dalí, Henri Matisse, and Gustav Klimt, these young artists have explored the techniques and creative approaches of celebrated artists while developing their own artistic voices.
