Stretch reality like Salvador Dalí, the Spanish artist who turned melting clocks, strange landscapes, and dreamlike ideas into some of the most recognizable art in the world.
Young artists will explore Dalí’s unmistakable style, create artwork of their own, and have their work included in our upcoming Copy Cats student exhibition alongside our 18th Annual Juried Show.

Salvador Dalí · October 13
Squish paint into strange creatures and draw a monster with a friend, one piece at a time, the way Salvador Dalí and the Surrealists did.
Students will explore the wonderfully strange world of Dalí and the Surrealists, experimenting with the ideas and techniques that made their work unmistakable to create artwork of their own.

All workshops: 4–5:30 PM
Participate in even one and your young artist will have a piece in the exhibition.
Copy Cats Student Exhibition

Artwork will be exhibited in the Riverviews Artist Collective Hallway Gallery alongside Modern Twist, our 18th Annual Juried Show.
Opening Reception: First Friday, November 6 · 5–8 PM

About the Instructor
Ceana Malley is a multimedia artist specializing in painting, drawing, and illustration. She earned her BFA from Liberty University in 2026 and has been a regular volunteer at Riverviews for more than two years. Her artwork is inspired by the everyday world and explores themes related to mental health, spirituality, and the journey of life.
