What happens when a classic work of art meets a bold contemporary eye?

Juried by Amy Calandra Davis, Riverviews’ 18th Annual Juried Show brings contemporary artists into dialogue with art history. Each selected work reimagines a piece by one of the greats, created in 1935 or earlier, asking what it might say, mean, or look like if made today. The result is a “modern twist,” an exhibition of new work shaped by that conversation, and entirely the artists' own.
